When it comes to Pell Grants, Financial Aid, and student loans that are subsidized by the federal government, everything is controlled by FASFA. What you will need to do is start of by meeting with a financial aid officer.

When you do this you will be asked to fill out your FASFA form, this form will ask your specific details about your financial situation, and if you are under 25 your parents financial situation as well.

Also, a lot of people are afraid of the the financial aid process, but as someone who has had a lot of experience with it, this process is not as bad as it seems.
