This is a really great question. The rate at which people are earning their high school diploma/GED online is on the rise, so inquiring if colleges and university will accept these documents is a excellent and valid concern.

Now with that said, I have good news and bad news. With the growth of online education, there has been an increase in the acceptance of it; however, this is not happening as fast for high schools diploma as it is for college degrees. Many colleges and universities, both online and brick and mortar, who are still weary of online high school diploma, and so each have their own policies about accepting them. So, what I am going to suggest you do is contact all of the schools you are interested, and discuss with an admissions advisor about their specific policies on admitting individuals with online high school diploma/GED.
