Q

I have a BA in Music, have taught music for eighteen years, and would now like to earn a K-6 or K-12 teaching certificate in music online--how?
I already have years of classroom experience, but have a few holes in my music education-- formal conducting, woodwinds, brass. Also, I live in Hawaii, where there is limited access to University programs.

We offer K-12 teaching certificates but I do not think we offer specifically a music education teaching certificate.

My kid is entering primary seven in august 2011. A letter was sent home with her today(2 days before end of term) stating that she will be moved to a primary 6/7 composite class. As a father of a ten year old entering her last year in primary, I feel this would be detrimental to her health / and her education. Is there any legal term to help me/her avoid this (can I arrange a meeting over the next 2 days with the school to discuss getting her placed back in her original primary seven class therefore continuing her studies with same classmates.
