Yes. The thing about interior design is that the field does not require its members to have a degree, and more specifically a bachelor's degree.

Typically, individuals who work as an interior designer will have a trade certificate or an associates degree, but some do go on to earn there bachelor's or master's degree.

So, to answer your question, no you do not need a B.Com or B.B.A., but you do need some form of education. Here is a link to a number of online interior design degree programs that would be an excellent option for anyone who is looking to become an interior designer.

A friend of mine is an inmate in a State prison who has just gained his High School Diploma. He is very interested in furthering his education and I am trying to find out if there are courses he can apply for that are free of charge.
