I am looking for a course in Exercise Physiology. There is one available from Stonebridge College in the UK. Is it a credit course that is transferrable to U.S. colleges?
I am an R.N. that currently works as a school nurse. I want to go for my Master's degree in either Public Health or Health Promotion/Fitness Management because it would complement what I do in the school setting and may open up other areas of future employment. I need a course in exercise physiology and am unable to attend at a local college because of schedule conflict. Is this available on-line? I saw a program that is available in the UK (Stonebridge). Is it accredited? Is it transferrable to the U.S.?

Here is the online exercise physiology course listed on the website. This is an excellent program. Stonebridge even though located in the UK, hold accreditation by NCFE and is a guarantee of quality. It means that this learning program has been scrutinized and approved by an independent panel of experienced educational professionals and is quality audited biannually by NCFE in the UK.

Like everything else related to transfers, this is a question you will have to discuss with the institution you are planning on transferring the credits to.
This should be a pretty straight forward process. Just contact the school's admission department, they will be able to tell you if the classes from Stonebridge will be accepted.
