I am interested in medical billing. There are some certificate programs available, can I work with only a certificate and not a degree?
I am concerned I may not be qualified with only a certificate. Are they recognized as adequate education?

In the end the majority of medical billing jobs on require you to have your certification, although some do require a degree. It will all depend on the employer, and what their needs are. But with that said, the start off point for a career in medical billing is typically a certificate.
