Thank you for your answer. I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor's in Child Development. I have taught for over fifteen years as a part-time community college instructor. So, I'll research the helpful list of on-line colleges you sent. Is there anything else I need to know?

I am assuming here by your use of the term "Faculty" that you are referring to a professorship with a university.

To teach at this level you will need no less than a Master's degree, and even at that a PhD is even better. There are a lot of highly educated individuals with advanced degree programs who are looking for these positions, so any way to distinguish oneself is advised, such as continued publishing and research.

Here is a link to a number of online programs that will aid you in developing the education and skills you need for teaching Early Childhood Education.
