Yes. To join any RN program, or any degree program for that matter, you will need to have a diploma. Now, you may be able to get your GED and be able to apply to an RN program, but I would check on that first. While getting you GED is a more flexible option for earning your diploma, not all institutions will accept your application. So, what you need to do is to do your research, and find out which schools accept what.
