The main use for Federal Financial Aid is for paying your tuition. While you may use your tuition for additional cost and living experiences, which you may have to pay back depending on the type, the majority of individuals will typically use their aid to pay their tuition in full at the beginning of the semester.

Would someone studying Communications, Sociology and Film be qualified to work in International Development? Would it be better for me to go a more traditional route by getting an education in International Studies instead? I have more interest in spending my fours years learning about sociology, communications and film while volunteering with NGOs in Canada.
