This depends on the course you are taking. Some courses are a work at your own pace and in those cases it is possible to finish as fast as you can. Sometimes tests are scheduled so you will have to wait for that time to take the tests. Depending on the instructor you have and if the class runs on a schedule it might not be possible but there are various courses where it is possible to work at your own pace and finish before the deadline.
