Can I use life experience to get my degree later in life since I have had a lot of experience in theater acting, writing, directing and teaching though I don't have a completed BA or master's?

So, life experience credits are a touchy subject with online and traditional universities. Many academic institutions as well as employers do frown on degrees that include credits from life experience, so it would be best to do some research on the theater industries feeling about this.
