This is a somewhat difficult question. On one hand there are a number of CPA and LPN programs that are avaliable to individuals who are looking for an online option for joining the growing nursing field; however, on the other hand developing the foundation of knowledge that you will need to be a qualified nurse is thought by some to best be done in person.

I did a bit of research and there seems to be a difference of opinion on which is the better option - this is mostly because of the clinical component of the program. Clinicians are a major part of the the nursing education experience, and all individuals must pass their clinical to earn their degree. With an in-person nursing degree this is easily done; however, online nursing degrees require students to find a local venue for completing their clinicals. This, as you can imagine, is no easy task, which is why so many people opt for the in-person clinicals.

So, what I would suggest you do is contact your local healthcare provider, and discuss with them what type of education they require. Many will only accept specific type of degree, so it is best to discuss what type is required for employment.
