As it is all online, are we able to print off the lessons and information. Have only desktop computer, but like to study outside.

Would someone studying Communications, Sociology and Film be qualified to work in International Development? Would it be better for me to go a more traditional route by getting an education in International Studies instead? I have more interest in spending my fours years learning about sociology, communications and film while volunteering with NGOs in Canada. However, would this put me at a significant disadvantage intellectually and experience wise?
