Any research for online learning success?
With the increasing trend toward online enrollment many colleges, particularly the for-profit sector, are relaxing admissions standards to capture their share of this booming market. Are there any studies, specifically, showing the success rate for online learners who had poor high school grades, especially in writing and reading comprehension?

I am not sure if there are any specific studies that address/compare high school grades specifically with online higher education success, but that does not mean there are not any out there.

What I would suggest that you do is conducting some online research. I did a quick search, and found this small study that address high school grade as a determinate for higher education success: High-School Grades Are Best Predictors of College Success, Study Finds.

I know that this study is not exactly what you are looking for, but it is a good start for finding more information on the specific topic you are looking at.
